More allegations of violence against Native Americans

On Friday night, January 24, 2003, residents of the Little Earth of United Tribes Housing complex witnessed a police squad car pull into their parking lot and drag out an American Indian male and female. The witness watched the police officers beat the man unconscious. The police officers then left the unconscious male in the parking lot and drove away. When residents and staf reached the male, they further discovered his upper torso and head were urinated on during this incident. This fact was further substantiated by off-duty police officers serving as serving as security for Little Earth and hospital staff.
