Police seek identity of men who robbed
local store
Facts:
On early Monday morning, February 23, there was a robbery of the
SuperAmerica at 5101 34th Avenue South They entered the store, stated
they had a gun and demanded cash from the register. After Suspect
1 grabbed the money, the two left the store, heading in an unknown
direction.
According to investigator Sgt. Tim Hatchner, the suspects entered
the store and acted like they were shopping. While one suspect placed
milk and a donut on the counter, as if he was going to buy them,
the other went outside briefly and came back in with his gray ski
cap pulled down. The first suspect took a cup of hot coffee and
threw it in the clerk's face, temporarily blinding him. One of the
suspects said that he had a gun and took money out of another clerk's
hand, threatening both clerks and ordering them to the floor.
Suspect information:
Police are seeking two suspects in this robbery. One suspect was
a black male, 38-42 years old, about 5' 7", stocky and unshaven.
The other suspect was a black male, 35-40 years of age, 5' 9"
to 6'. One of the suspects (shown in picture) was wearing a hat
with yellow, dark blue and light blue stripes and a dark jacket
with a green stripe across the front and sleeves.
