| Why people hate Bush There
seems to be a certain level of criticism for “Bush Haters”
out there.
Supporters of young Mr. Bush are saying that people who display
any emotion about seeing our country ripped off by this bunch of
Mayberry Machiavellians should be be disregarded as unstable, unsound,
and probably “UnAmerican.”
After all, why should we get emotional about seeing our country
hijacked by a coup involving a fraudulent election, improper intrusion
by an overly political Supreme Court?
Why should we worry about a bunch of deliberate lies by chickenhawks
who never served in the military who promptly took us into an oil
war against the wrong country?
Why should we get personally upset about seeing our Social Security
System and our environment completely trashed, all so some really
rich people can get literally filthy rich?
Hard as it is for right-thinking people to understand, some folks
actually get upset about these things.
Hope and pray that our votes actually get counted this time.
Sincerely,
Dave Porter

How can actual conservatives vote for Bush?
How can a so called conservative vote for Bush?
What is he conserving? Is spending hundreds of billions of dollars
on an unnecessary, unsanctioned war fiscally conservative? Is it
"pro-life" to sacrifice so many lives and to do such colossal
damage to our planet? Is it conservative or prudent to squander
oil the way we do? Is it wise or prudent to refuse to put a national
conservation policy in place? Is it wise or conservative to import
billions of gallons of oil year in and year out only to have the
effluence of that oil end up in our air and our bodies?
We will be paying for these atrocities long into our future with
our dollars and with our lives. It's time for Republicans to wake
up and realize that this president is the antithesis of conservative
and the damage he has already done to our lives and our future is
staggering.
Sincerely,
Don Johnson
