In an effort to keep the community informed of what’s
happening within its borders the Southside Pride will now be publishing
the Minneapolis Police Department’s official reported crime
statistics within the Philips Powderhorn neighborhood. The following
crime report is for the month of February.
Powderhorn Park reported 20 cases of larceny, 10 cases of auto theft,
8 burglaries, 7 robberies and 2 cases of aggravated assault.
The Standish neighborhood reported 10 burglaries, 7 cases of larceny,
5 cases of auto theft and 1 robbery.
The Corcoran neighborhood reported 7 burglaries, 7 instances of auto
theft, 5 cases of larceny, 3 cases of arson, 2 robberies and 1 case
of aggravated assault.
The Central neighborhood reported 10 cases of larceny, 10 cases of
auto theft, 9 robberies, 4 burglaries, 3 cases of aggravated assault
and 1 case of arson.
