Riverside area crime report

In an effort to keep the community informed of what’s happening within its borders the Southside Pride will now be publishing the Minneapolis Police Department’s official reported crime statistics within the Riverside neighborhood. The following crime report covers the period between 2/1/04 and 4/5/04.

Hiawatha neighborhood reported 13 cases of larceny, 11 burglaries, 8 cases of auto theft and 2 cases of aggravated assault.

The Howe neighborhood reported 12 burglaries, 11 cases of larceny, 8 cases of auto theft, 2 cases of aggravated assault and 1 robbery.

The Cooper neighborhood reported 9 cases of larceny, 5 burglaries, 5 instances of auto theft, and 2 robberies.

The Longfellow neighborhood reported 113 cases of larceny, 21 cases of auto theft, 14 burglaries, 11 robberies, 2 cases of aggravated assault, 2 cases of rape and 2 cases of arson.

The Seward neighborhood reported 30 cases of larceny, 30 cases of auto theft, 24 burglaries, 6 robberies, 4 cases of aggravated assault, 1 case of rape and 1 case of arson.
