Phillips/Powderhorn Area crime report

In an effort to keep the community informed of what’s happening within its borders the Southside Pride will now be publishing the Minneapolis Police Department’s official reported crime statistics within the Philips Powderhorn neighborhood. The following crime report is for the month of April.

The Phillips neighborhood reported 79 cases of larceny, 38 cases of auto theft, 34 robberies, 22 burglaries, 17 cases of aggravated assault, 2 cases of rape, 1 case of arson and 1 homicide.

The Standish neighborhood reported 12 cases of larceny, 8 burglaries, 6 cases of auto theft and 3 cases of aggravated assault.

The Bryant neighborhood reported 4 instances of auto theft, 4 cases of aggravated assault, 3 cases of larceny, 2 burglaries, 2 robberies and 1 case of arson.

The Bancroft neighborhood reported 4 cases of larceny, 4 cases of auto theft, 3 burglaries, 1 robbery and 1 case of aggravated assault.
