Riverside area crime report
In an effort to keep the neighborhood informed
of criminal goings on the Southside Pride will be publisihing the
official area crime reports of the Minneapolis police department.
Between 7/1/04 and 8/12/04 the Cedar Riverside
area reported 47 cases of larceny, 22 cases of auto theft, 20 cases
of burglary, five cases of robbery, five cases of aggravated assault,
two cases of rape and one case of arson.
Between 7/1/04 and 8/2/04 the Cooper neighborhood
reported 6 burglaries, 5 cases of larceny, 3 cases of auto theft,
2 cases of robbery and one case of aggravated assault.
The Howe neighborhood reported 9 cases of larceny,
7 cases of auto theft, 5 burglaries, one case of arson and one robbery
during this same time period.
The Hiawatha neighborhood reported 32 cases of
larceny, 10 burglaries, 5 cases of auto theft and one robbery between
7/1/04 and 8/2/04.
The Longfellow neighborhood reported 52 cases of
larceny, 12 burglaries, 5 robberies, 4 cases of auto theft and 4
cases of aggravated assault in the same time period.
The Seward neighborhood reported 21 cases of larceny,
18 burglaries, 9 cases of auto theft, 3 robberies, 2 cases of aggravated
assault and one rape between 7/1/04 and 8/2/04.
