Riverside area crime report

In an effort to keep the neighborhood informed of criminal goings-on, the Southside Pride will be publishing the official area crime reports of the Minneapolis police department.

Between 4/1/05 and 4/30/05 the Cedar-Riverside neighborhood reported 20 cases of larceny, 11 cases of auto theft, 9 cases of aggravated assault, 8 robberies, 3 burglaries, and one case of rape during the same time period.

The Cooper neighborhood reported 6 cases of larceny, 4 cases of auto theft, 4 burglaries, 1 robbery and 1 case of aggravated assault.

The Howe neighborhood reported 9 burglaries, 6 cases of larceny, 3 cases of auto theft, 2 robberies and 2 aggravated assaults during the same time period.

The Hiawatha neighborhood reported 17 cases of larceny, 8 burglaries and 1 case of auto theft during the same time period.

The Longfellow neighborhood reported 19 cases of larceny, 13 burglaries, 6 robberies, 5 cases of auto theft, 3 cases of aggravated assault and 3 cases of rape in the same time period.

The Seward neighborhood reported 19 cases of larceny, 11 cases of auto theft, 5 robberies, 4 burglaries and 4 cases of aggravated assault also during the same time period.
