Etching Life in Lines

Painter, printmaker and author Robert Crump will present "Etching-- Life in Lines" at the ASI Forum on January 23, 7 to 9 pm., at The American Swedish Institute, 2600 Park Ave. S., Mpls.

Robert Crump's presentation is part of the programming around ASI's coming major exhibition of more than 50 etchings by Anders Zorn, Sweden's master etcher, which opens on Feb. 6. The ASI Forum presentations are free for ASI members and included with museum admission for nonmembers. Freewill contributions will be collected for refreshments. Crump's presentation will explore various etching processes and examine works by etcher contemporaries of Anders Zorn. He will also exhibit material used to make etchings that can be viewed after the presentation.
