Agape Youth Choir Concert

3400 Park Ave.S .Agape is a multi-ethnic choir from Westbury United Methodist Church in Houston, Texas. The singers, who range in age from 12 to 18, go on tour every summer, and this year they are stopping in Minneapolis. This group is about fun, service, worship, friends and singing. Everyone is admitted; there are no auditions. The kids sing every Sunday morning at the 8:30 worship service in their home church, and present special programs several
times a year. Besides the summer tour, Agape has a fall and a spring retreat
and does mission trips, such as the one in 2006 when they helped clean up after Hurricane Rita. To raise money they've had carwashes and crawfish boils—there are videos of them on youtube. Their director is J. Randall Zercher. Admission is free.

Concert by Choir from Norway

A touring choir from Øyeren, Norway, will perform a variety of fun music. The choir consists of 110 singers from ages 35 to 70. Directed by Vidar Kjeldsen. The choir, as part of its 20th anniversary tour, will also visit Decorah Iowa, and La Crosse Wis., while in the Mid-west. Everyone is welcome!
