Ritter, who famously and accurately argued that Iraq no longer had weapons of mass destruction, returned from a fact finding mission to Iran and said, "We are seeing history repeat itself." Ritter is the author of “Target Iran”and “Iraq Confidential.” Lizzy West and Baba Buffalo, whose "17 Days to Baghdad" is played frequently on "Democracy Now,” will open the program by performing songs from their album, The Tumbleweed Cabaret (Dream #1), slated for an August release. The Minneapolis Youth Coordinating Board has set up two circulator bus routes for the summer, running until Aug. 15. The routes run from noon until 8 pm., Mon-Fri., stopping at designated spots with youth opportunities along the way. The northside buses serve the Near North and Camden communities, and the southside buses travel through the Central, Phillips, Powderhorn, and Longfellow communities. Youth from ages 9 to 18 can ride, and younger children can ride with an adult or babysitter who is at least 13 years old. Riding the bus is free, but registration is required. Hennepin County produces a free full-color bike and road map that is a great resource to residents and visitors to learn about the extensive network of bike paths and trails throughout Hennepin County.
