Have they no shame?

Republicans fought Obama’s Stimulus Plan tooth and nail. Not one Republican voted for it in the House and only three “moderate” Republicans voted for it in the Senate. They criticized it as wasteful spending, and, then, when Senate and House conferees agreed to a smaller version, John Boehner (the leader of the House Republicans) complained there weren’t enough middle-class tax cuts, and Tim Pawlenty (Minnesota’s Republican Govern-or) complained there wasn’t enough in infrastructure spending. It’s like that old vaudeville joke about Grossinger’s Resort: One pensioner complained the food was terrible, and the second said, “Yes, and the portions are so small!”
